Allure Lifestyle Communities is currently recruiting Maintenance Technicians for our newest mixed-use acquisition in the Bethesda MD area.

The Maintenance team is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the property in a safe, efficient, and quality manner. This position will assist in all phases of maintenance operations and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. They may be asked to participate in a property-wide renovation that will be taking place.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities that are listed below are not all inclusive; however, they are indicative of the type of responsibilities normally performed by a Maintenance Technician:

· Completes maintenance work orders timely as assigned

· Completes daily work schedules for routine maintenance duties

· Paints, cleans, completes maintenance items, and all other items required for the completion of the unit under renovation

· Notifies management of all problems and potential issues of concern

· Handles emergency situations that may arise, and communicates all details of the incident to the management team

· Participates in on-call schedule and responds to after-hours incidents

· Performs all phases of snow removal from all needed areas and maintains all appropriate equipment

· Interacts in a professional and courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees

· Actively participates and follows the safety and health programs

· Maintains inventory of equipment, tools, supplies, and work materials

· Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum High School Education or equivalent

· Minimum three (3) years full time maintenance experience including painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, etc.

· Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and heating systems

· Valid driver’s license

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Ability to solve problems involving residents, emergency situations, etc.

· Basic computer skills for completing online work orders

· Works well in a team environment and demonstrates integrity on a personal and professional level

· Strong work ethic

SCOPE + COMPENSATION

• Minimum forty (40) hours per week; additional hours as required including a rotational on-call schedule. Regular schedule to be consistent with established hours of operation.
• May be asked to participate in a property-wide renovation.
